Real Estate Prices in Turkey Increased More than Any Foreign Currency

According to the official data, real estate prices in Turkey have increased more than foreign exchange in the last one and two years. While real estate sales prices increased by 75% in 1 year in Istanbul, the annual increase in value was 50% in Ankara, 55% in İzmir, 56% in Bursa, and 78% in Antalya.

According to the current data of the Technology-Oriented Real Estate Appraisal Platform, Endeksa, real estate sales prices in Turkey have increased by 63% in the last year and by 132% in 2 years.

In contrast, the dollar increased 56% annually, and 97% for 2 years; the euro, on the other hand, showed an annual increase of 50% and a 2-year increase of 102%.

When the rental income is also considered, the annual total return of the real estate investment was 71% and the 2-year return was 151%.

Real Estate Price Increases in Major Turkish Cities

Real estate prices in Istanbul increased 75% in 1 year and 122% in 2 years. While the total return including the rental income is 83% and the 2-year return is 139%.

The annual value increase in Ankara is 50%, the 2-year value increase is 101%; the Total annual return including rental income is 57%, 2-year total return is 118%.

In İzmir, annual value increase is 55%, 2-year value increase is 115%; Total annual return including rental income is 62%, and 2-year total return is 130%.

Annual value increase in Bursa is 56%, 2-year value increase is 103%; Total annual return including rental income is 63%, 2-year total return is 118%.

In Antalya, on the other hand, annual value increase is 78%, 2-year value increase is 178%; Total annual return including rental income is 86%, 2-year total return is 197%.
